As European countries are starting to ease lockdown measures and some schools are reopening, #CedefopPhotoAward is back for a fifth year to give vocational education and training (VET) learners a chance to have some fun and win amazing prizes. And we need, once more, your help to promote it!
An integral part of the European vocational skills week (#EUVocationalSkills), #CedefopPhotoAward 2020 is an initiative endorsed by the European Commission, aiming to promote best practice and excellence in VET across the EU and beyond.
Teams of up to four VET learners in the European Union, Norway and Iceland are invited to share their VET experience related to green or digital skills in a creative photostory, accompanied by a narrative of up to 100 words, explaining the idea behind their work.
For the first time this year, participants have the option to create an additional short video (up to 60 seconds), highlighting the photostory’s main message.
As things stand, two winning teams, accompanied by their teacher/tutor, will take part in the European vocational skills week in Berlin in November as nominees for the top prize. A special #CedefopPhotoAward Prix du jury will be presented to a third winning team during the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in November. The team with the best video will win up to four Interrail global passes, one for each VET learner.
In case any/all events are cancelled or conducted virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus situation, the winners will be invited to next year’s editions.
Entries may only be submitted online by following this link. The deadline for submissions is 30 June 2020, 23:59 CET.
